How the checker decides

  • Only stated limits count. Funding caps, age limits, stages and countries come from each program's official page, the same data shown on its program page. See how we verify.
  • Unclear means “worth checking”. If your answer sits right on a limit, or the rules don't say whether unfunded teams qualify, the program is listed with that reason instead of being counted.
  • Your route is shown. If your accelerator has its own deal (for example a larger Y Combinator offer), the result shows that offer and route instead of the public one.

Questions

Do I need an accelerator or a VC to get startup credits?

No. 89 of the 104 active programs here take direct applications. 15 are only available through partner investors, accelerators or platforms, and 44 explicitly accept bootstrapped teams.

What limits do startup credit programs usually set?

37 programs cap how much you can have raised (most often under $5M), 32 cap company age (most often 5 years), and 5 are limited to certain countries. Many also exclude existing paying customers, agencies and consultancies; those rules are listed on each program's page.

How accurate is the eligibility checker?

It only applies limits stated on each program's official page, checked by StartupCreditPerks and dated on every program page. When the rules don't settle a case from your answers, the program is listed under "Worth checking" with the reason rather than counted as a match. Always confirm on the official page before applying.
