Gotchas
- The page says up to $100K, but the linked terms (last updated 5 June 2025) cap additional tranches at an aggregate $50K, granted at Daytona's discretion. Only the first $10K is certain on acceptance.
- Credits expire 12 months after issuance, and unused credit is not reinstated.
- Accepted companies may be listed publicly and are asked to show a "Powered by Daytona" badge where reasonable.
- Daytona can revoke credits or end the program at any time; unused credits are forfeited when your participation ends.
About the Daytona program
Daytona Startup Grid gives accepted startups credits for Daytona, a platform for running AI-generated code in isolated sandboxes. The program page promises $10K on your account straight away and "easily up to $100K" in total, and says Daytona replies to the form within hours.
The program terms linked from the form (last updated 5 June 2025) are narrower: $10,000 in credits on acceptance, with further tranches up to an aggregate $50,000 granted at Daytona's discretion against milestones it sets in writing. Credits must be redeemed within 12 months of issuance, have no cash value and do not discount future paid plans or include Daytona Enterprise.
Per the terms, applicants must be privately held, incorporated no more than five years before applying, have raised less than $15 million in total and employ fewer than 50 full-time staff. The form asks for funding, headcount, a deck link, your use case and whether you come through one of Daytona's VC or accelerator partners (the list includes Y Combinator, a16z speedrun, Sequoia, Accel, Techstars and Antler), and has a bootstrapped option.
Accepted companies agree to be listed as program members and, where reasonable, to show a "Powered by Daytona" badge while using program credits.
