How to apply

Sign up at console.e2b.dev and find your Project ID (Project > General > Legacy Project ID); credits go to that one project.

In YC, a16z Speedrun or Antler? Claim the E2B deal through your program's portal instead.

Otherwise fill in the form at e2b.dev/startups/apply with your company email, team size, funding raised, incorporation year and use case.

After approval, add the E2B badge to your site or repo and post about the program within 7 days.
Gotchas
- Credits are one-time and expire one year after redemption.
- Accepted teams must display the E2B badge and share positive words about E2B within 7 days of approval, or E2B can downgrade the plan and revoke the credits.
- Only Free-tier users qualify for the free Pro tier; teams already on Pro or another paid tier don't get it.
- The terms say no reply within 2–3 weeks means you were not accepted, while the FAQ says no reply means still in review. Rejected teams can reapply after three months.
About the E2B program
E2B for Startups gives approved teams a one-time $20,000 in E2B usage credits and membership in the E2B Pro tier. E2B runs isolated cloud sandboxes (one microVM per session) for AI agents: coding agents, data analysis, computer use, evals and app generation. Pro allows 100 concurrent sandboxes, sessions up to 24 hours and custom CPU and RAM; it normally costs $150 a month plus usage.
Applicants must meet all three criteria: less than $5 million raised, founded less than three years ago, and first-time E2B user. The form asks for an E2B Project ID, because credits go to a single project, and requires a company email. Teams already on Pro or another paid tier cannot get Pro for free and should email startups@e2b.dev.
The program terms say credits expire one year after redemption and are non-transferable. Accepted teams must display the E2B badge somewhere public and share positive words about the program within 7 days of approval, or E2B may downgrade the plan and revoke the credits. Capacity is limited, and rejected teams can reapply after three months.
YC, a16z Speedrun and Antler companies apply through their program's portal for additional E2B credits. A separate E2B for Research track covers research teams at universities, public research institutes and non-profit research organizations.
