Gotchas

  • Bootstrapped startups are not eligible; venture backing is required.

  • Already-paying Auth0 or Okta customers and past program members cannot apply.

About the Auth0 program

Auth0 for Startups gives eligible early-stage companies one year of Auth0's B2B Professional plan at no cost, covering up to 100,000 monthly active users and enterprise features such as SSO and MFA.

Eligibility on the current page: venture-backed with less than $5M in funding, less than $1M in annual recurring revenue, and less than two years from the date of incorporation. Existing paid Auth0/Okta customers (enterprise or paid self-service plans) and startups that were previously members of the program are excluded. Startups that do not qualify can still use the standard Auth0 Free plan.

Auth0 raised the funding cap from $2M to $5M in 2022 ("more than double our previous $2M cap"), so older third-party listings with a $2M limit are out of date. Applications go through the startups page (Auth0's blog points to auth0.com/startups/vip); detailed review times are not published.
