About the Linear program

Linear for Startups gives startups affiliated with an official Linear partner free access to Linear's Business plan; Linear's billing docs specify up to 6 months. The offer is only valid for non-paying Linear users with less than 50 employees; larger companies are directed to Linear's sales team. Linear lists 528 participating partners on the program page (investors, accelerators and startup communities such as a16z, Bessemer Venture Partners, Seedcamp, AI2 Incubator, Nexus Venture Partners, Startup Wise Guys and 50 Partners).

Redemption is partner-driven: follow the redemption link your partner provides or enter the partner code when prompted. You must be an admin of your Linear workspace and logged in to redeem. If your investor or accelerator is not yet a partner, Linear asks them to fill out the partner application form; approved partners get a dedicated partner link and their startups redeem directly with Linear.

When the discount period ends, the Business subscription automatically renews at the standard rate unless you switch plans or cancel beforehand. Startups without a partner can still use Linear's free plan, which includes all major features, unlimited workspace members and 250 issues (plus unlimited archived issues).
