Check that you are new to Braintrust, at Series A or earlier, and have raised at least $100K.

Fill in the form at braintrust.dev/startups (full name, work email, company website, optional referral source) and accept the terms.

Braintrust aims to decide within an hour if it can verify your details. Otherwise it emails you for more information.

Once approved, follow the onboarding email. Pro access runs for 6 or 12 months depending on your tier.
Gotchas
- New customers only. Existing Braintrust customers can't join.
- Bootstrapped teams with under $100K raised don't qualify. The free Starter plan is the fallback.
- Pro access doesn't roll over. It ends with the 6- or 12-month term.
- The 12-month tier depends on your investor being a Braintrust partner. Other benefits vary by funding source, amount and stage.
About the Braintrust program
Braintrust for Startups gives new customers free access to the Braintrust Pro plan. Any new customer with at least $100K in funding gets six months. Startups funded by Braintrust's partner VC firms at Series A or earlier get twelve months. Braintrust is an AI evaluation and observability platform covering tracing, evals, experiments, a prompt playground and production monitoring. The pricing page lists Pro at $249/month. Pro includes $100 in monthly model credits, 5 GB of processed data and 50k scores, with usage rates beyond that.
The program is limited to new Braintrust customers at Series A or earlier that have raised at least $100K. Braintrust names Accel, Founders Fund, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins and Y Combinator among its partner VC firms. It says benefits vary with funding source, amount raised and stage. The program also includes office hours and startup events.
The FAQ says you get a decision within an hour if the information you submit is accurate. If Braintrust can't verify it, you get an email with details. The form's confirmation message says reviews take a couple of days. Credits cover Pro plan access for the full 6- or 12-month term and don't roll over after the program period ends.
