Gotchas
- The 12-month term counts consecutive months from the date you activate the coupon.
- No stacking: you have to choose between the startup coupon and any other coupon or credit offer.
- Langfuse Cloud only. Self-hosted Langfuse is not covered.
- One startup coupon per company, and Langfuse can verify eligibility and revoke discounts for abuse.
- After 12 months billing moves to standard pricing.
About the Langfuse program
Langfuse for Startups gives early-stage teams 50% off their entire Langfuse Cloud bill for 12 consecutive months from the date the coupon is activated. Langfuse is an open-source LLM observability, prompt management and evaluation platform. The discount applies to Langfuse Cloud only and appears on every invoice during the term. On the current pricing page Core is $29/month and Pro is $199/month, each with 100k units a month included and $8 per additional 100k units.
To qualify, the company must be bootstrapped or have raised no more than USD 5 million in total venture funding, be incorporated 5 or fewer years ago, and be privately held and independent. New and existing Langfuse Cloud customers can apply. Review is automatic and usually takes under 24 hours. Approved teams get a promo code by email to enter under Settings → Billing. If you raise past the $5M cap after approval, the discount stays active for the full 12 months.
The coupon is one per company and does not stack with other coupons or credits. After 12 months you move to standard pricing. Current and alumni Y Combinator companies have a separate deal on Bookface (Langfuse is a YC W23 company). Non-profits, research and education, and open-source projects have their own programs. Langfuse's own blog states that ClickHouse has acquired Langfuse, and that Langfuse Cloud keeps running as before.
