New Relic for Startups

New Relic relaunched New Relic for Startups in June 2026 as a free platform-access program. The program page promises the full New Relic platform with no feature gates: five users and generous data ingest per month, free, plus every New Relic AI feature (AI Monitoring, APM and Logs from the first deploy), a New Relic engineer alongside you at launch, office hours and quarterly architecture reviews. New Relic positions it as a partnership rather than a credits grant and does not publish the exact GB ingest allowance.

The program page itself is a registration form and lists no eligibility thresholds; New Relic's June 2026 press release and blog describe it as open to qualified Series A and earlier startups, through a VC or accelerator referral or directly. The program terms state you must meet the eligibility requirements on newrelic.com, accept the New Relic Agreement and be accepted by New Relic; submitting an application does not constitute admission, acceptance is at New Relic's sole discretion, and either side can terminate participation at any time. Usage beyond program benefits is billed at standard rates. An older 2022 version listed seed to pre-Series B, under 10 years old, fewer than 100 employees and not a current customer; those criteria may be outdated.

Alternative entry points: AWS Activate members can select the New Relic for Startups offer in the Activate Console, and New Relic also lists the Carta startup stack and Zendesk dealbook as channels. Startups that do not qualify can use New Relic's perpetual free tier (100 GB per month of ingest and one full platform user).
