Eligibility

Requirements

  • Incorporated as a legal entity no more than 7 years before applying
  • Less than $15M raised in equity funding
  • New or free-plan Algolia user (never a paid subscriber)

Not eligible

  • Previous or existing paid Algolia subscribers
  • Companies that have used any other Algolia coupon code
  • Companies directly controlled by an entity that doesn't meet the requirements or by an Algolia competitor

How to apply

  1. 1

Sign up for a free Algolia account if you don't already have one (paid subscribers are not eligible).

  2. 2

Open algolia.com/industries/startups and click 'Apply for $10k in credits', which opens an Algolia support request form.

  3. 3

Submit your company details; Algolia reviews whether you meet the program requirements.

  4. 4

If selected, you get an email notification; the 12-month credit window starts from your acceptance.

  5. 5

Track credit usage in the Monitoring tab of the Algolia dashboard.

Gotchas

  • The 12 months start at acceptance, not at first use; unused credits lapse with no extension.
  • Any past Algolia coupon code disqualifies you, and current or former paying customers can't apply.
  • Credits can't be applied to a committed paid contract and aren't transferable.
  • Algolia may use your name and logo in marketing and as a reference account as a condition of the program.
  • Usage beyond the credits is billed at normal rates; the application owner is responsible for any charges.

About the Algolia program

The Algolia Startup Program grants $10,000 in Algolia credits to use within 12 months of acceptance. Under the program terms, the credits cover Algolia services on the Grow or Grow Plus plan at list price. Unused credits expire after 12 months with no extension, and once they are used up or expire you are billed at normal rates.

Eligible companies were incorporated no more than seven years before applying, have raised less than $15M in equity funding, and are not a previous or existing paid Algolia subscriber. Free-plan users can apply. A company directly controlled by a parent that fails these requirements, or by an Algolia competitor, is not eligible, and anyone who has used another Algolia coupon code is excluded.

The program also lists credits for other SaaS products (Datadog, Notion and more), Algolia Academy resources, support, and a chance to be featured in Algolia's blog and video series. By joining, you agree that Algolia may use your name and logo in marketing and as a reference account.
