How to apply

    Submit company details, funding, investors and time in operation; once approved, Render applies the credits to your workspace.

Gotchas

  • All credits expire one year after approval.
  • Build, Scale and AI tiers cannot be applied for directly; you must come through an enrolled partner.
  • Scale's $25K level requires $1M+ in funding from an enrolled top-tier VC; the $100K AI tier requires at least $2.5M from an enrolled top-tier VC.
  • Prototype requires seed funding of at least $25K, so pre-funding teams may not qualify.
  • Migration credits (up to $10K) are a separate offer for moving production infrastructure.

About the Render program

Render's Startup Program (render.com/startups) offers credits that scale with funding stage and investors, up to $100,000. All credits are valid for one year from approval. The page lists four tiers.

Prototype gives $500 in startup credits to qualified startups: a new customer with seed funding (minimum $25K), under 4 years in operation, under $50M raised and Series A or earlier. Build gives $2,500 in credits for startups from a partner, or $5K for startups from select partners; it requires applying through an enrolled partner, a new customer, under 4 years in operation, under $50M raised and Series A or earlier. Scale gives $10K for startups with under $1M in funding or $25K for $1M or more, and requires funding from an enrolled top-tier VC, under 5 years in operation, under $50M raised and Series A or earlier. AI gives $100K plus a 1:1 onboarding and migration session and a free dedicated support Slack for a year, for startups with at least $2.5M in funding from an enrolled top-tier VC and under 4 years in operation.

Build, Scale and AI tiers require applying through one of Render's partner accelerators or VCs. Separately, Render advertises up to $10K in migration credits for teams migrating production infrastructure.
