- One-time opportunity per startup; credits cannot be transferred between accounts.
- R2 is capped at $10,000 and Workers AI at $2,500 / $10,000 / $50,000 by tier; AI Gateway and domain registration are not covered.
- The $100,000 and $350,000 tiers require funding from a Cloudflare-affiliated partner.
- Enterprise feature add-ons and premium network services (Magic Transit, Dedicated IPs, China Network) are excluded; you need a payment method on file.
About the Cloudflare program
Cloudflare for Startups gives early-stage companies up to $350,000 in credits for a year across Cloudflare's developer platform, security and network products. The program page (cloudflare.com/startups) lists three tiers: Tier 3, $10,000, for bootstrapped or self-funded startups with under $1M raised and no minimum funding; Tier 2, $100,000, plus an account manager (case-dependent) and technical sessions, for startups with under $5M raised that are funded by an affiliated partner; and Tier 1, $350,000, with an account manager, priority technical support and bi-weekly Solutions Architect office hours, for startups with $5M+ raised funded by an affiliated partner. Cloudflare notes it recently raised Tier 3 from $5,000 to $10,000 and Tier 1 from $250,000 to $350,000.
To qualify you must meet all of the following: founded (incorporated) within the last 10 years, funded up to Series B, funded within the last 12 months, building a technology product, a live public website, a public social or GitHub presence, not previously approved into the program, and a for-profit business with a matching business email.
Credits cover usage-based services such as Workers, Durable Objects, D1, KV, Queues, Vectorize, R2, Pages, Images and Stream. Caps apply: R2 up to $10,000, and Workers AI up to $2,500 (Tier 3), $10,000 (Tier 2) or $50,000 (Tier 1). AI Gateway is temporarily not covered and domain registration is excluded. Core security and networking features (three Enterprise domains, WAF, DDoS, CDN, DNS) are included at no cost. Credits are valid for one year or until consumed, whichever comes first; there are no extensions, the program is one-time per startup, and credits are non-transferable.
